Babymetal Confirms U.S. Tour Dates for 2018

Fans of kawaii metal who reside in Europe and North America may rejoice — the genre's premiere group Babymetal have announced a limited number of dates on each continent as part of their 2018 World Tour. Included are appearances at Germany's Rock am Ring, Download UK, and Rock on The Range in Columbus, OH. A full list of dates and venues may be seen in the image below.

These will be the first Babymetal shows since the passing of guitarist Mikio Fujioka, who died in January from injuries sustained during an accidental fall from an observation deck. The group's most recent disc, Live at Wembley, was released in December 2016. Currently Babymetal can be heard performing the opening theme to the Cartoon Network program "Unikitty!", which is still airing its first season.
