Mudhoney Release Single "Paranoid Core" from Forthcoming New Album

Mudhoney drop single "Paranoid Core"

Mudhoney are set to release new album Digital Garbage on September 28th. If you head over to the Mudhoney website, pre-orders of the LP will receive the Limited Loser Edition on seafoam green vinyl.

Yesterday, the band released their first single from the album. "Paranoid Core" is the same old Mudhoney as ever, which is to say one of the greatest things ever (especially Steve Turner making those crunchy, blistering riffs). The song takes a not-so-subtle stab at the Right's weird, unwarranted political motivations, complete with all the irony we loved so dearly in the '90s.

Mudhoney have already announced a Fall tour to support Digital Garbage's release, but a majority of the dates are across Europe. Here's hoping there's a second leg that swings back around the States, because they never ever put on a bad show. Ever.
